3. The group was out of camera for "awhile" according to the report

They could have been doing anything. The cameras never caught them in the tunnels, but maybe they got directions on how to get there when they were off camera. Any why did Loudermilk leave them to their own devices, apparently completely unaccompanied by even a staffer?

Further, iirc, according to one of DoJ's indictments of the Proud Boys/Oath Keepers, part of the plan was to invade the office buildings as well as the Capitol Building itself. They could have been doing recon of the office buildings for that part of the plan although it never materialized.
