164. My point is this...

Why would it be my business if someone chooses to wear a mask while driving?

Why should I judge them?

I'm not in their shoes.

I don't know anything about their health status. I don't know who they are. I don't know their names.

Maybe it's just me, but I would tread very lightly when feeling the need to mock people when you know nothing about them, or nothing about their situation.

Example: Someone who has been hyper vigilant for 2+ years has a mask on while driving. They read your words of ridicule. They then have second thoughts about wearing a mask while driving, even though they have perfectly valid reasons for doing so.

These people are in their own goddamn vehicles FFS. Maybe they are just coming from a chemo treatment. Maybe they just had a death in the family and they simply forgot to take their mask off. Maybe the mask makes them feel safe. You don't like the ear loops? OK, maybe they happen to like them.

You, me and everyone else is just trying to get through life in one piece. Making someone feel bad about their health choices seems very mean spirited to me.
