(20,998 posts)55. And it wasn't just stairwells... they took pictures of security checkpoints...
...and the more publicized "stairwell" picture is of a stairwell that leads to one of the main tunnels in the Capitol complex used by lawmakers. And this WAS. NOT. THE. ONLY. "TOUR"!!! It appears that other "tours" led by other Republicans focused on other points of interest. They had multiple teams casing the Capitol... and all of these "tours" were either led by Republican Congresspersons or high-placed members of their staff.

I _think_ in the second picture that's the tunnel from Rayburn into Cannon.

i have taken PRETTY/old staircases. even drawn railings. steps w/ cat, but not that kind.
