By contrast, the issue with the fake 'electors' involves many multiples of that in terms of actors, different layers of involvement (or not, which needs to be sorted out) - and the very likely involvement of elected officials and powerful political interests. So, this case has all sorts of elements that McVeigh did not - leaving the analogy a strikingly poor one.

I'll stick with the post saying that these people (at least those directly involved as given in the OP) almost certainly WILL be arrested and tried - with the very likely result being a conviction. Sorry that it's taking longer than you wish, but ... Them's the breaks.
