I think a big part of the problem is that through Eco-Health Alliance we were helping fund this research. Ralph Baric and Dr Shi Zhengli of Wuhan’s lab wrote research papers together on gain of function research. Interesting, how Obama stopped this research in US after several anthrax escape accidents. Ralph Baric seems to have been very upset with Obama’s decision and the research seemed to continue in Wuhan…. When Trump got into office, he reversed Obama’s decision. Our Fort Dietrich Bio Lab was closed for months because of sloppy mistakes. Also, our Galveston Bio Lab trained young Wuhan’s scientists. It’s all interconnected.
