13. standard olive oil is hever hard to find in our local stores. I don't use extra virgin much

but I use standard olive oil for frying stuff and in most recipes. At Whole Foods and Berkeley Bowl, for instance there are hundreds of little bottles of EVOO but you're lucky if you can find one of the regular stuff.
The same goes for Safeway and Trade Joes in my area.

Fortunately a couple of times a year the bowl stocks the large can of Star olive oil or some bulk stuff from Spain.
