In reply to the discussion: Romney aides "spent $5,000 on granola bars, canned food, and diapers to put on display" [View all]kooljerk666
(776 posts)36. That was a good one!!
If he was not as self absorbed as CANCER, he would take his $5,000 in cans donate them to a homeless shelter in OHIO. Then instead of wasteing $20,000,000 fo TV ads in PA which he will never win & the ads make many hate him more, take that money & GIVE IT TO THE RED CROSS!!
Since he has $250.000,000 to $1,000,000,000 dollars laying around a HUGE DONATION would be like chump change to him & he would amaze people.
I do not think he even has this concept in his pathetic little mind.
And even if he figure this out, he will be running around like Monty Hall in "Lets Make A Deal" Chump change for votes, bring out your votes with a wheelbarrow full of nickels.
Hopefully he tries this around 4:30 Monday afternoon "look at me, look at me!"

I am sure a granola bar is just the ticket for a family whose home was wiped out in that awful fire,

Wow, a whole $5,000. That's pennies to them. They could have had pallets of food delivered.

Reminds me of the TJMaxx props they bought for Ann's interview to make the place look cozy.

I knew it as soon as I saw Romney lifting a shrink-wrapped case of cans.
