Nonetheless, the idea is a great one and the ethic of making sure the people you know directly vote can make a difference,
especially if you poll them first

I like the idea of getting ahead of this curve and finding out who is not registered properly. Who has recently moved, for example! Who has not registered after turning 18? Etc.
