...it will be more like Northern Ireland on a continental scale. Terrorism and counterterrorism, with a very shaky political system constantly on the verge of total collapse. I should say the odds of this happening are about 50-50 in the next decade. If the Court really goes all the way down Clarence Thomas's path, and goes after gay rights and birth control, the odds of social collapse go way over 50%...
