4. I am kind of hoping that we can use the concept of the First Amendment

To actually stop this. She is correct in that their proclaimed reason is based in religion, and therefore no state law banning abortion can be constitutional because of the First Amendment. I think they need to pursue this line of reasoning with gusto. But, I am certainly not a lawyer, nor would I ever want to immerse myself in the cesspool that is American justice.
