(8,813 posts)1. Well, I live in Virginia - purple - but in a very red
area. I feel surrounded by ignorant people and while I belong to a local Democratic club, its disheartening to know that my Congressperson and state representatives will never represent me.
I also feel I cannot put any bumper stickers supporting a Democratic candidate on my car because Im afraid of vandalism.
To me, its stressful.
