who everyone hated in college. He hated the sixties and was the snitch in the dorms on kid's who smoked pot. He was a virgin until he was married and hated all the "free love" that everyone else was engaged in at the time.
Thomas is the same way. They both have a grudge against modern society.

On the other hand we have Kavanaugh who sticks his manhood in a woman's face. What kind of weirdo does that?

Finally, Barrett is a cult member. Anyone who has to asked her cult if her husband in acceptable for marriage is a wackadoo.
