6. How is it possible to be shocked by anything Trump does?

He came into office a serial sexual predator. He lies with every breath he takes. He bragged about wanting to date his own daughter. He can't stop talking about how good looking and "fuckable" he thinks she is.

And then once he was in office, he was his usual obscene and vulgar self but with far more power to be worse - and he was. Four years of destructive and deranged behavior that revealed just who he is on a daily basis.

So, why the shock?

Why pretend his behind the scenes behavior was somehow worse than what he showed to the world?

Trump was always at his worse. It's the only speed he knows.

Everyone who was waiting on him to pivot showed themselves to be idiots.

Everyone who viewed him through the lens of his title were fools.
