4. They are trying to establish iron rule by white Christian men

they see time running out before whites become a minority and can't maintain power in anything resembling a democracy.

So rather than secure rights for minorities, to protect themselves for that eventuality, they are trying to hold on to power as long as they can.

Which of course means that when white people do eventually lose power, inevitably, it will be really ugly for white people.

But remember, they're not merely evil. They're also incredibly stupid.
