During Rita my family of 4 lived in a 1500 sq ft house and had at times, up to 18 family members and 4 extra dogs that evacuated to our house. Some were there for 3-4 days, most over a week. We had no power, no running water and the sewer system without electricity wouldn't work.
Tough times but we managed and made it a good time.
Except for one sister who complained about everything. But she ALWAYS complains about everything. Some people are just like that even when times are good. They need something/someone to blame.

Allfred was worse for us in CT in terms of power outages. I lost my power for 2 days.
