35. The Chan message boards are a big part of the problem, but so is Fox News.

Fox News is imbibed by tens of millions of Americans, and they are people who vote. Most of them consider themselves to be nice people, good families, pillars of the community. Fox News lies to them all day, every day, to get them to vote for people they would normally have nothing to do with.

The Chan communities are tiny in contrast. And I doubt those kids vote. Yes, a few are radicalized and commit horrific crimes. But they're a small portion of the population, so far. I don't know where we're headed.
