She simply says that she would shoot them to protect their lives. Literally, without any sense of embarrassment, she says, "I would shoot my grandchildren to protect their lives". Well if you shoot them and kill them, then you would not be protecting their lives. You would have just murdered them and destroyed their lives.

Typical for a Conservative. They have ZERO substance to their thinking. The idea of shooting someone to protect their "life" seems stupid on its face.

I can even undertake the argument to kill someone to protect them from a fate "worse than death", but you still acknowledge that you are actually ending their lives to protect them from something worse. For example, if you were being hunted by a right wing government that was set on torturing you to death because you would not submit to changing your political view, or belonged to some hated group (I.E. Jews), you might consider dying more palatable to going through that torture, indignity, and ultimately death.

Conservatives are so vapid and unintelligent, that this woman thinks that she is making a cogent argument for her right to own a deadly weapon. I reserve the right to kill my grandchildren... which is where in the Constitution? Why would you go to killing your grandchildren to defend your right to own and carry a firearm. That is murder. Why do we want someone who would murder their grandchildren to have a gun?
