I'm sure that most of us are quite ready for this election to be over. It's been an almost four year campaign, and I think everyone's really weary of it.

I will be overjoyed to go to my polling place and confidently vote for President Obama and the other fine Democrats on my ballot, along with No votes on two very ugly constitutional amendments in Minnesota. Then, I'll watch the returns, still confident that our side will win, at least in most areas.

After the election, I'll be very happy to stop thinking about it and take a break from politics for a while. I'm tired.
