Nov 2012

At Fri Nov 2, 2012, 01:55 PM an alert was sent on the following post:

Funny how everyone is whining about the NYC Marathon, but no mention of NFL Steelers vs Giants
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021693460

REASON FOR ALERT:

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate. (See <a href="http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=aboutus#communitystandards" target="_blank">Community Standards</a>.)

ALERTER'S COMMENTS:

Diminishes the fact that thousands of people in New York are literally going hungry here, homeless and without either power or a place to take a shower. Very divisive and hurtful.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Fri Nov 2, 2012, 02:01 PM, and the Jury voted 0-6 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Are you fucking kidding me, this was alerted on? Why? Poster is not diminishing anything. What a bullshit alert.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: I don't see anything divisive here...just a comparison of the two major sporting events happening and the fact that the NFL isn't receiving the criticism that the marathon is.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Oh good grief ... The alert button is not mommy.
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.
