13. Here in western NC the majority are easily fooled

The last 2 congressmen elected here were uneducated, ignorant liars. There's nothing wrong with being uneducated, but ignorance and lying about academic accomplishments is or should be a red flag.

I remember when this came out about Meadows. His office and PR never corrected the profile for over 30 years. He attended from 77-78, but got somehow got his AA in 1980. I bet he worked a deal to get the AA after dropping out. There were no online studies back then.

And his elected replacement, cawthorn, flunked out of college and tried to imply he'd graduated at some point but got caught in that lie; and he also claimed that he'd been accepted to the naval academy, which was debunked. He was rejected by them.

The GOPQ candidate this year, who will likely win because of the political makeup, attended the local community college for 10 years, business curriculum, but doesn't claim an AA degree. He proudly graduated from a local high school and middle school. But he is a successful businessman, owning McDonald's franchise among other businesses, and is a hometown guy. I don't support him, won't vote for him, but he's at least a better candidate than the last 2 inasmuch as he didn't lie about his lack of education. He seems proud of it.

Meadows has been lying for his entire professional career. Perfect match for tfg. He also lied about his legal residence here for the last election.
