My posts tend to be longer, typically because I spend some time explaining what I am saying and why. Context is very important in understanding.
There are a lot of posts here that just "say something" without any context, as if we are all in the same room watching or reading the exact same thing.
I don't like some of the actual rudeness I see here at times, but asking for context, or a citation, or some kind of explanation, in my opinion, is not rude.

No. It's helpful to have links. The person asking might want a link to share with others.
