Otherwise, it takes about 14 days for our immune systems to take it on adequately, people with severe illness tending to crash and burn around day 10.
People who are vaccinated have immune systems that will respond within 3-5 days. The drug is to be taken within the first 5 days, meaning nobody knows for sure if the drug is making a vaccinated person feel better, or if his own immune system has killed the virus.
Rebound has been reported with the drug, but the same thing has occurred after an unmedicated infection.
