Aug 2022

When Pence pushed the "Religious Freedom Restoration Act" at the state level (aka greenlighting homophobic discrimination) what got that shut down was corporate pushback. They knew they couldn't recruit talent to a Christian Taliban state, and Pence and allies retreated in disgrace, Pence losing face with his Christofascist base. Trump rescued him from political irrelevance by naming him as running mate.

This is just the beginning...
