... being interviewed saying that it is based on fresh evidence of an ongoing crime. These are people who work/have worked in the federal justice system and know how hard it is to get this kind of search warrant, how unprecedented, how much evidence is needed to support it, and how important it must be in order to have all these people in the top echelon sign off and authorize this.

I don't want to lose sight of how rare this is. In fact, it's never happened in our history.
