Former presidential candidate and recent founder of the third Forward Party, Andrew Yang, has gone on a social media tirade about the FBI search on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago beachside estate.
Trump confirmed Monday night that the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) were at his Mar-a-Lago residence carrying out a search warrant. Trump described the raid as “dark times for our Nation” and said that his home was “under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.”
Tuesday, Yang turned to Twitter, suggesting that the entire search would be fodder for a 2024 campaigning Trump and could cause MAGA Americans to believe more of the bullshit Trump (and now Yang) have been peddling about the “unjust” American institutions.
“The FBI raid of Trump’s home has fired up his base of support in the GOP - and has seemingly increased the odds of his running in ‘24,” Yang tweeted.
