I could list 10 reasons why but let's just start with three
1) Sovereign funds are designed to facilitate public partnerships with outsiders. It may be news to some but the house of Saud has billions of dollars of private money that could have been used and not reported.
2) Kushner didn't get 2 Billion, he gets to buy equity ipre IPO businesses and guide them to stock market launch. His returns will be accountable and he will be in competition with other funds. If he doesn't perform with 30% return he will lose the fund. The look at 100 companies to invest in one.
3) Trump', quite obviously, would never let go of such a huge asset so someone else would get a benefit, even a share.
Trump didn't intend to sell the secrets but to trade them for some other country to use their intelligence service to help get elected in 2024.
