I just have to get this off my chest [View all]

If Chuck Todd were illiterate, he would not be given a high profile TV show. Chuck Todd, and a whole lot of other people, are clearly innumerate. This race is not too close to call, no one who has even rudimentary math skills can think that. Right now we have states that will support Obama totaling 253 (I am giving Obama WI and NV). Romney has 191. That leaves FL, OH, NC, VA, IA, NH as swing states. If he wins FL or OH, then he wins. If he wins NC or VA and literally any other state, he wins. To win Romney must win FL, OH, NC, VA

In Ohio Obama has a lead in 18 of the last 20 polls. The two he didn't lead in, Ras. and Wenzel.
In VA Obama has a lead in 14 of the last 20 polls (5 losses and a tie). Last six polls he has leads, last 10 he splits 8 to 1 to 1.

Romney has leads in FL and NC so lets assume he wins them. Obama still has a small but steady lead in both Ohio and VA. Ohio is outside the MOE when you take into account the sample size of the poll average. If you don't know this, then you are as innumerate as a person who can't read the New York Times is illiterate. And there is no excuse, none, for people who are given these high perches in our society to be that innumerate. Again, such a blatant illiteracy on the part of Mr. Todd and host of others would never be tolerated in a modern newsroom. So why is this blatant innumeracy. Mr. Todd couldn't pass a basic stats class so why is he given a job to explain math?
