18. I tried to volunteer as a Poll Watcher, but the local DEM office dropped the ball TWICE

In my county you have to submit Poll Watcher names a couple weeks ahead of time tot he Sup of Elections and the local DEM office forgot to put me and a few others on the Early Voting list, so we reminded them again and they forgot to put me on the list for Election Day watchers. They said I can however stand on the side of the road waving signs in traffic....

I tried to protect the vote, but the local office blew it again. Will Rogers was right, I do not belong to an organized party, I'm a Democrat.

So I will be sitting home and not helping. I'd love to help, but I cant stand all day and I wont be able to drive people to the polls in my old truck. I for sure wont be waving signs in traffic.

I'm not bitter, I'm just limited on what I can do and I wasnt taken advantage of and put to use.
