If Ryan would have lost, today's headlines would have been about a Red Wave.

And we aren't going to hear much about what's really going on here. Dems are beating the polls by a lot. Dems are outperforming 2020 when they held the House and won the Senate. And Republicans are underperforming everywhere. For Sempolinksi to only win by 6.5 in a district Trump carried by over 13 points is remarkable too,

These are the Mid terms, it's usually in these early special elections that the big story is how the party out of power is outperforming their previous performance. It's usually a story of how the party in power can't motivate its voters.

I mean, you have the Kansas abortion vote beating the latest polls by 20+. You have Ryan beating the polls by 10 points last night, he was -8 going into election night. This is just absolutely remarkable and cannot be overstated.

And the winning issue is clear, it's abortion! Ryan ran on abortion as his primary issue. Kansas. The evidence is clear, if Dems run on abortion rights, they're going to crush all expectations in November.
