(129 posts)Fully vaccinated. Used and still use masks (while everyone else thinks it's all over).
Stayed away from crowds or clusters of people. That also means we have not gone
to the movies and stayed out of restaurants. We have refused to invite anyone, including relatives who are
not fully vaccinated. When asked, my very conservative sister-in-law did not get the boosters because
had COVID so she has "plenty of immunities". This after her husband died on their bed after jogging. He had a strong
case of COVID but refused to go to the hospital or his doctor for treatment.
You would think she would be more cautious after finding my brother facing up with dead eyes open.
My wife wanted to invited her to a small get together. I said absolutely NOT if she still hasn't had her boosters.
My wife called her and started a conversation that led to her to ask my sister-in-law if she got the boosters.
She began to whine, well, noooo, whine whine. She was not invited.
Another couple we know (Democrats), who got COVID, said they didn't understand why they caught it. They even got
all the shots. But they ate indoors in restaurants. NO NO.
We can't afford to catch it. We both have heart and lung issues.
