I'm a few years older than the OP and I've never been in the military. I've received secret and top secret clearances in my career due to certain jobs I've had or applied for, starting as far back as grad school. The FBI is quite serious about anyone (not Trump) who would have access to nuclear weapons information.

To say this travesty is a mockery of your service is far more understated than I could muster. To paraphrase the orange blowhard "Lock him up!"
