(4,128 posts)..new shows pales in comparison of TV viewership long ago. Hunded of millions watched on pre-cable/net news stations programs like Gunsmoke, MASH, Dallas and other major prime time shows. In fact, I'll dig it out but I think 100 million tuned into the final episode of MASH!

Point is, too many media and right wingers think that tiny microcosm that Fox occupies is representative of the whole US population! Far from it, as way too much faith is put on the phony news and ill-informed "stars" of Fox. Phooey!
