I knew it was popular before he did it and was a little puzzled to see him attacked by the media after he did exactly what he said he was going to do. But this is a really popular idea and he's done a great job of framing it as helping working people.

Republicans were looking for an opening because they desperately don't want to talk about women's rights. Not going to happen here.
