The Repubs want him to win Georgia in the worst way. They could then run him for president. they would run his campaign based on dems picking on him for being dumb and folksy.

If he'd win the presidency, they'd have an absolute no nothing puppet that they could get to sign anything they want. This is what they are dreaming of every night.
