28. Do you consider that story as evidence of a ET visitation?

It is a story, no more, no less. I will credit the speaker with being a good storyteller. Why would anyone believe that an interstellar traveler would be a humanoid form, on the same scale as a human? Evolution is the story of millions of random causes, driven by environmental factors, that result in an ever changing form. That such a form would repeat, so closely, in and in the same time frame in another ecosystem to me is incredulous. The only way to explain such a coincidence would be through the act of God, and if a person can believe in God, they can believe in anything.

Dr. Carl Sagan said, and I paraphrase, 'that the one thing that he hoped he left his students with was a functioning bullshit meter.' To me, this story smells like a whole rawhide sized herd of male bovines.

Stories are not evidence and incredible claims require overwhelming evidence.
