Watching The McLaughlin Group...discussing Michelle Obama. [View all]

I'm watching The McLaughlin Group on PBS. Pat Buchanan is a regular guest, and he's there in his regular chair "on the right." There was a short discussion of Michelle Obama and that new very critical book about her, and in particular, a comment she made to Sarkozy's wife that living in the W.H. is hell.

I waited to hear Buchanan's opinion on the book and Michelle Obama. To my surprise, he had nice things to say about her. Of course, he ended with talking about Nancy Reagan's power in the W.H. and how she got Buchanan's boss fired. I guess the implication being that the book might be correct about Michelle's clashes with W.H. inner circle powers that be. Still, pretty mild for Buchanan about the Obamas, since I think he pretty much hates them and sounds like a racist sometimes.
