Putting aside the Paige warrant Deerie as a FISA judge has seen hundreds of affidavits (including pre FISA) from the FBI and the quality of their paperwork.

Within the federal LEO community the FBI is known as being extremely particular on their paperwork.

No judge with a permanent bias against the FBI could stay as a FISA judge. The fact that the judge was upset about non material issues but "cosmetic" issues as you inform means that he is particularly strict on procedures which couldn't be worse for Trump on classified documents.

Good points.

The cherry on top? Trump has to pay for it.
