I did not know this:
Small donations indicate to a campaign that they have wide spread support among voters. Seasoned campaign strategists can then present this data to major donors to indicate and basically lobby that they have levels of endorsements from all over the economic/income level strata...Major donors consider a lot before they contribute or back a candidate. Those $5.00 asks help candidates in ways that are amazing. The dollars add up, to be certain. But every dime donated is analyzed, dissected, categorized, taken into account, etc
