The correct question is “are you willing to DIE to put Donald Trump back in the White House”.
Are you willing to DIE to end democracy here so that your children will live in some sort of theocratic fascist shithole?
Blithely talking about Civil War as some sort of rational option is just not….well…rational. War of any sort means death on a massive scale. It means destruction, indiscriminate destruction. No plan survives the first shot goes the saying.
Ask any Ukrainian right now what they think about war. You cannot say that that is different. War is war no matter where it occurs and how it is fought.
Youthful arrogance and ignorance allowed me to enlist and serve Viet Nam. I can assure you that you don’t want to be in that environment here or anywhere else.
So if YOU are willing to die, have your family slaughtered and your country’s future endangered because of trump, what really does that make you? Is your epitaph, your tombstone engraving proudly going to say “I died for trump” ?
