She is doing everything she can think of, given her position, to sabotage an eventual criminal case, and to delay that eventual case in the meantime.

But I don't think we should grant her the charity of proposing that she is beholden to TFG specifically and for blackmail type reasons. I think we ought to assume she's going to be a corrupt, lawless partisan activist on everything that comes before her for the next 3-4 decades.
