Which one do you think is the most telling statement made by Michael Flynn? [View all]

The time he lied to Pence
*Vice President Mike Pence told CBS News' Margaret Brennan Thursday that he knew former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had lied to him about his contacts with the Russians when Flynn was fired in February. Brennan spoke with Pence during the vice president's surprise trip to Afghanistan.

Flynn, who's now cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller's probe of Russian election interference, pled guilty last month to lying to the FBI. He told investigators he'd never discussed U.S. sanctions against Russia with a Russian ambassador when those sanctions were imposed by the Obama administration shortly after the 2016 election.

The time he lied to the FBI
Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday in federal court to a charge of making false statements to the FBI about his communications with Russia.

Flynn had contacted the Russians at the urging of two top transition officials, according to a court document. Three people familiar with the matter say one of the officials referenced in the document is Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, and two people familiar with the matter say the other is K.T. McFarland, who served as deputy national security adviser from January to May.

The time he lied to the judge at his trial
A federal judge who will sentence Michael Flynn issued a blanket rebuke of conspiracy theories on Monday about the former Trump national security adviser that have festered over the last two years.

The FBI didn’t entrap Flynn when he lied to them in the early days of the Trump administration, Judge Emmet Sullivan of the US District Court in DC said in a 92-page opinion.

“The Court summarily disposes of Mr. Flynn’s arguments that the FBI conducted an ambush interview for the purpose of trapping him into making false statements and that the government pressured him to enter a guilty plea. The record proves otherwise,” Sullivan wrote on Monday.

Flynn made a guilty plea on two occasions - while under oath.

The time he made an unsubstantiated claim about "Muslim signs" at the border
Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Donald Trump's pick to be his national security adviser, claimed in an August radio interview with Breitbart News that Arabic signs were present along the United States border with Mexico to guide potential state-sponsored terrorists and "radicalized Muslims" into the United States. No evidence of these signs were ever provided by Flynn, a CNN KFile review of available information about the terror threat along the US-Mexico border could not corroborate Flynn's claim, CNN's KFile asked Flynn for clarification about the Arabic signs but received no reply, a Trump transition spokesman declined to comment, a spokesperson for the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) "respectfully" declined to comment, and Shawn Moran, a vice president at the National Border Patrol Council, the labor union of border patrol agents that endorsed Trump, told CNN's KFile the group was not aware of the signs Flynn referenced.

The time he said if Arizona were to decertify the election, then Donald Trump would automatically win the presidency

This has not happened. Arizona governor says state will not decertify 2020 election results and ‘the outcome stands’.

That he reps QAnon in public but rips it in private
Michael Flynn, who once filmed his family at a July 4 barbecue saying the QAnon oath, “Where we go one, we go all,” said in private that the Q conspiracy theory was “total nonsense” and a “disinformation campaign created by the left.”

In a recording of a phone call purportedly between Trump lawyer Lin Wood and Flynn released late Saturday night, Trump’s disgraced former national security advisor said of QAnon, “I think it’s a disinformation campaign that the CIA created. That’s what I believe. Now, I don’t know that for a fact, but that’s what I think it is. I think it’s a disinformation campaign.”

Flynn has been a prominent figure in the QAnon movement, with some followers believing Flynn himself may have been the anonymous poster known as “Q,” who posted nearly 5,000 messages online between 2017 and 2020. Many of those messages contained cryptic hints that followers in the movement believe point to a “Deep State” conspiracy of Satanic rituals performed by cannibal pedophiles in the U.S. government.

Flynn’s disbelief, however, has not stopped him from profiting off of the Q conspiracy. In 2016 shortly after Trump’s election, Flynn said that “army of digital soldiers” got Trump into office. Flynn trademarked the phrase “digital soldiers,” which later became a rallying cry for the Q movement. Even as recently as this summer, he spoke at a conference attended by QAnon believers — the “For God & and Country Patriot Roundup” — where he appeared to endorse the violent overthrow of the U.S. government. In 2017, Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations with then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

The time he had trouble with the US Constitution
Speaking in Oklahoma on Saturday, Michael Flynn claimed that "the word 'Creator' is in the Constitution four times."

Fact Check: The word "Creator" appears ZERO times in the Constitution.

The time he claimed the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine was already over early
Said that "Putin already won" in March of 2022 and that Ukrainian government officials were making exit plans. This is false as the invasion and the Ukrainian resistance against the invasion continues to this day.

The time he had trouble with the US Constitution - again
Michael Flynn gave a speech in Arizona where he essentially claimed states are likely go rogue from the federal government as governors exert their own authority and “declare war.”

“Just lock ’em up,” Flynn exclaimed to a cheering crowd. “States rights! Did you know that a governor can declare war? A governor can declare war, and we’re gonna probably see that.”

The former Donald Trump White House National Security Adviser seems to be unaware of how federalism works, but in the real world, only Congress has the authority to declare war in America.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the U.S. Constitution states that it is Congress that has the power to “declare war,” to “raise and support armies,” and “to make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces.” If the United States was to wage war, then Congress would have to pass a resolution in both chambers, then present it to the president, who shall then direct the military as “commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States,” as stated by Article II, Section 2.

If they could put in acidic salad dressing, what would stop THEM from just putting it in the drinking water? (Sorry, had to actually apply science and logic there for a second)
