And the ONLY thing that matters is LIVING THINGS - people and pets.

I had retired relatives several years ago who lived near a river. Most of the time it was fine, but one time they got a 2 hour warning that the water control department was going to have to open the floodgates to save the levee.

My aunt got right to it, grabbing things that were irreplaceable - family photos and such - as well as some clothes. My uncle stood there dumbfounded.

She yelled "Bobby, grab your best suit and shoes!"

He said "Why on earth do I need a suit?

She said "Because I'm going to bury you in it if you don't get moving!"
