It was quoted here on DU, and I'll see if I can dig it up.
But, yes, it was a ridiculous statement then, and it is beyond ridiculous today. Imagine our country and world if Al Gore, and not that buffoon W, had been President. And then who do the Repubs "gift" us with after W? trump.
Pathetic and disastrous.
