As you age, you’ll be competing for the spotlight against all kinds of celebrities and pitchmen/women, actresses moonlighting in endorsement deals and side gigs, and various other kinds of “Flavors of the Month”, all ages, races, backgrounds, and levels of experience, and every variety of “Famous for Being Famous.”

But, of course, you’ve got a reputation and looks and a famous name, and an image to try to hang onto. And you do love being on TV.
