I mean, they are married, they presumably 'talk' and all that. Also Trump would probably talk to her as well.

Maybe it was just his perception, or maybe he actually knows she was like 'Jared if you get my dad to pardon that skeevy fucker, you're sleeping on the couch for a MONTH' or something along those lines, but rich-people style.
