(29,564 posts)Shes basically saying either (1) shes not interested in taking the time to figure out whats actually happening/whats actually at stake or (2) shes not smart enough to understand it through their obfuscations.
This points to our greatest need in informing the electorate: keep it simple and repeat, repeat, repeat.
People should know by now that Republican tax cuts only help the wealthy and large corporations. They should know that most personal freedoms, affordable healthcare, worker and environmental protections are being protected only by Dems. If they want a bit more, they should watch Katie Porter video clips to understand the economic impact of republicanism.
I ask people what if one side is better at conning people and the other side is better at actually doing things for them/protecting them? This often makes them take a little more interest.
