I’m still trying to figure out why we have to pay his attys on this one, when the rape happened before he was prez, and had nothing to do with his office. I understand this case concerns the subsequent defamation while he was in office, "but, for," the original act, there would not be a defamation case.

Taking this out to even more absurd lengths, would the Justice Dept have to defend him against everybody he defamed while in office if they decided to sue? That would certainly run up the national deficit.

But then, I don't even play a lawyer on TV (or have Sling!)
