47. We ran into one older fellow who was rather adamant about it.

Absolutely NOT interested in voting. We were out canvassing. We dropped the subject and said farewell and have a nice afternoon, and and headed to the next address.

He was adamant. It would have been a waste of time to try to tell him the truth. He was actively and rock-solid unreachable. Fortunately enough, that’s the first ardent hostile I’ve ever encountered, and since we moved up here and I found the local Indivisible group, I’ve done quite a few canvassings. Besides, we had more turf yet to cover.
