But I doubt you'll ever see a pundit say an election is in the bag for one side or the other. Not only does that open them up to embarrassment if they're wrong, but excitement is good for ratings. Just like you'll never see a sportscaster say, "Well, no point in watching this. The Rams are going to roll right over the Cowboys."
