5. I think a part of why we won in 2020 is due to trust issues.

I believe voters turned out who didn't before because we learned a very hard lesson. Decency doesn't prevail if we don't show up to vote, and there are some extremely vile people out there who will and do vote.

That and Trump's abysmal Covid response helped us secure that election.

I'm not as comfortable in the Dobb's effect as you are to pull us through because I believe the GOP has done a good job of motivating and mobilizing their base on the economy and immigration/border issues where it matters. Then there's the kitchen sink issues of inflation and the economy. Low information independents notice those and are easily led by their noses.

We (active Democrats) need to be out there working our butts off for every single vote we can. If we don't, then this is ours to lose. There's literally nothing to say we've got this and much to imply we will lose the House. I don't mean to seem overly aggressive, but pretending it's not a probability we will without tons of work just because of Dobb's irks me. There truly are massive amounts of mobilized vile people out there who vote now.

We need to fight like never before to win this election. If we don't then we lose.
